The writers Miriam Chaya, Elenna Rubin Goodman, Marigold Fine, Carolyn Davis Rudolph, and Judy Phillips read. Carolyn Brigit Flynn read the work of the late Alison Bermond, in whose memory the evening was dedicated. Singer/songwriter Fran Avni offered beautiful music.  The evening included a show of Alison Bermond's original artwork. We closed by singing a blessing song for President Barack Obama, and ending with "This Land Is Your Land" by the great Woodie Guthrie.
